Jesus will catch hold of you

Remember when Jesus was walking in the seas in the stormy weathers? Jesus tells Peter to come, and so the disciple steps out of the boat. After a few steps Peter starts to sink .

Jesus says, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

In life we will always doubt but we have to reming ourselves that Jesus is there for us all the time.

Jesus is there to catch hold of you – If your faith falters, Jesus will reach out his hand to steady you. (Matthew 14:29)

An interesting verse

Matthew 17:27 (Today's New International Version)
27 "But so that we may not cause offense, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."

I've been reading the Bible for quite a long time but never came across this verse. The Bible never ceases to amaze me. You can actually get coins out from a fish. Now I thought this will happen only in fairy tales. Well after reading this verse what do you think?

When the tax collector came for the "two-drachma" tax, Jesus gave Peter very interesting instructions on how to obtain the necessary funds.

With all the power of Creation at His disposal, Jesus could have produced any number of coins and made them readily available. Yet, with the tax collector waiting by the door, Peter was told to excuse himself and take a fishing line down to the lake. Why go through all this trouble with the fish?Our walk with Christ involves continually developing and growing our faith. It would have taken very little faith for Peter to pick a coin off the table and pay the tax. He was therefore given the "opportunity" to strengthen his faith as he trusted Jesus and not his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Peter's faith grew, and therefore his closeness with Jesus, as he obeyed and cast out his fishing line.Jesus is able to fully meet all our needs (Philippians 4:19). But He loves
us enough to lead us to specific action; "faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead" (James 2:17). The specific actions or accomplishments are never really the issue; rather, it's the growth in our relationship with Jesus which is important. Our faith becomes alive and we
grow closer every time we obey, follow, and take the step!

A bad start to the 2008 season for Ferrari. Not only did they falter during qualifying, the same duo (Kimi and Massa)also faltered during the opening race in Melbourne bagging in 8th position for Kimi and a DNF for Massa. However it's still too early to say who will win the 2008 championships. The favourites are still Hamilton who also won the Australian season opener, Kimi, Massa and also Alonso. But in F1 you will never know what happens, it is always unpredictable. Coming up next is Sepang F1, who will win, my bet in on Ferrari. Let's wait and see.

There is nothing too hard for You.

Ever wondered that it would impossible to get you dream house, car or whatever you desire....well reading from Jeremiah 32:17, our Papa is the creator of the heavens and the earth, surely nothing is impossible for Him. Yet when we think about our wants we lack the faith that our Papa can provide and give us what we want. Not only that problems that we go through we think of it as a big problem, but to God it may be a tiny little thing.

There is nothing impossible with God, He is a loving father, give thanks to Him for all that you already have and will be given to us by our Loving Papa for free.

Yippies Last Day of Work....

Today is the last day of work for me...TGIW (Thank God it's Wednesday). Going to take a break for the next 3 days and have a good good break. Hope to rest fully and enjoy my time with Sharon and with God. All you people out there enjoy your day and have a good day at work.

Launch out.....can or cannot ?

Launch Out Into The Deep

Luke 5:4
4When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

God wants to bless you — big-time! It was for this reason that He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

The deep is where you would find a whole lot of fish. You won’t find them near the shore in shallow waters. So to launch out into the deep is to thrust forth from the comfort of the shoreline.

God wants you to break away from your comfort zone and step out in faith to do what He has put in your heart. It may be something that you have never done before or only dreamt of, like attending a care group. A church member did just that, and found love. Today, she is happily married.

Now, our Lord Jesus who said, “Launch out into the deep…” also said, “… let down your nets for a catch.” Notice that He used the plural “nets” and not the singular “net”. Beloved, God wants to give you more than what you need. His dream for you is bigger than anything that you can ever dream of. Think of the biggest dream and God will exceed that because He delights in giving you exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)

A church member who was formerly working for someone else had wanted to start his own company. When praying with him, I received a word from the Lord for him to launch out on his own. When he did that, he made a handsome profit at the end of the first month alone! Today, he has more than one company and his business is flourishing. God is blessing him beyond his wildest dreams!

God can also bless you beyond your wildest dreams. He did it for Simon who was astonished at the catch of fish. (Luke 5:9) But it was not until Simon launched out into the deep that he ended up with that net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish. (Luke 5:6–7) You, too, will be astonished at your catch when you step out of your comfort zone and launch out into the deep with the Lord!

BN is out and DAP is in

The Malaysian 12th general election is finally over and the winds of change is taking place most particularly in Penang. Strange enough is that the rakyat (people) have chosen the opposition parties this time in the 12th General Elections. Well that shows the people wants a change. Well it certainly is sad to see our familiar faces no more in action in our neighbourhood, especially Dr. Koh Tsu Koon and also Teng Hock Nan, but i guess it's also great that a change in Penang is good for the state of Penang. However how well will DAP perform is yet to be seen and proven but one thing is for sure the rakyat is surely on the lookout for improvement and changes in the state. The question is will they perform? will they work for the raykat? Several other question are arising in my head, what is gonna happen to Gerakan and MCA in Penang? Their fate is yet to be known, especially when they have not even won a single state eat, how will they play an active role?. But I'm sure they will work out something.

Elections this year is surely an interesting year and I'm sure the coming years till the next one will even me more interesting as we see the new Men on the Block in Penang. But at the mean time BN folks in Penang are surely recuperating from their terrible loss and are packing their offices to be seated over by PKR and DAP candidates.

It's all over.

At the moment the man we are going to see often in action is Lim Guan Eng, son to the well known Lim Kit Siang.

The Boss Decides and the winner is......??

Well today is election day. The votes are in and the results will be out soon. Who will remain the rakyat's chosen is still yet to be told. But rumors has been flying around saying that the Opposition Parties contesting in Penang has regained control. We will just have to wait until the final results are in.

Anyway here's some pictures from today's election. Also it's the first time for me and my sister to cast our votes. We found it rather interesting voting for the first time.

On Location at KLCC

I'm currently enjoying my Vanilla ice blended with Starbucks and also sucking their bandwidth. I'm down here enjoying while Sharon is having her training. I've been enjoying myself the whole day walking around BB and also KLCC. I'm now about to make a move to go jalan jalan somemore. Will be heading back to Penang tonight. Will post pics later. There is a virus going around where you will receive a IM message from a friend in your list giving you a website name, this is what you will get. However after asking your friend he will tell you that he didn't send you anything instead he will ask you why you send him something. The website gives you the chance to see which of your friend has blocked you on MSN. Well to me at first this was a interesting, but don't get fooled, you will only receive this message (above pic) after entering your username and password, what stupid excuses "due to high system load". I said to myself "Kevin you got fooled". I recommened you to quickly change your password if you have done so. You never know what they can do to your account, because oyu have just given them you MSN username and password. Well spread the word around, and don't get fooled yourself. Also think of it this way, how can some stupid website allow you to check who you've blocked. This is just not possible, it is application dependent. Anyway below is another pic when you first click on the website which tricks many people into entering their MSN username and password.

Long long day....

Well once again it is the first day of work for many people and it's a start to another long week. Surely you will feel tired and miserable after a nice weekend. But anyway that's part of life and we have to realize that we need to work, my sweetheart also had a very long day at work today, well was so sad for her for she needs to work so late till almost 8pm. Anyway take it slow and enjoy the rest of the week b4 you know it, it will be the end of the week. Have a good week ahead.

GodTube - Broadcast Him

Never knew there was a Christian's Version of youtube called GodTube. Anyway enjoy the video and do support GodTube by visiting them. Very cool videos available there.




There was one thing that striked me, it was the prayer wall. It was a very cool way of posting prayers according to category. Do take a look there, you will never know when you're praying for someone in need. Also after looking at the prayers people have posted you never know what people are going through, well most of the time we think we are the only ones suffering all the pain and the suffering but thin again when you read the prayers that people have posted. I mean people from all walks of life go through so much and when we go through difficult times we complain.

For some reason I started to like reading comics again, it started about 1 month back when I came across a review of some Marvel Comics on the net. My favourite characters in the comic universe are the X-Men, Superman and also Mr. Spidey. My liking towards comics started at a young age in school thanks to some friends who introduced me to comics and since then I've like to read comics, preferably Marvel comics. But now comic world has changed quite a bit, you can even download illegal comics online, serious. But nothing beats reading comics bought from the vendors. The experience is certainly just not the same. Even Marvel has introduced a new pay to read comic version for something like 20USD for tonnes and tonnes of comics, which is pretty cool. The digital age has certainly caught to times and surely more and more things which we traditionally used to do will certainly be replaced by the new dawn of digital world.
