Formula 1 comes to an end..but who will take it all?

Another close season between Ferrari and McLaren, only thing is last year we saw Kimi battling with Hamilton. This time around it is Massa vs Hamilton. However Hamilton has an advantage over Massa, a 5 point lead. Massa also has another advantage a brand new V8 engine while Hamilton has a used engine from the previous race. In order to win Massa has to score max points or a minimum of 6 points which is 3rd place while Hamilton doesn't finish the race. But will Hamilton finish the race within the points range to beat Massa or will he screw up again like last year. Massa will have to play it cool and he has to do well in qualifying. If Massa can lead the race all the way to the checkered flag Massa will have an advantage only to wait for Hamilton to screw up or blow up an engine to score no points. Well another interesting season coming to an end. Looking foward to the last race of F1. Who will be the champion?

Cameron Highland Road Trip

Our journey started 5am in the morning after a short sleep. Even though we worked 5 long days we were very  excited about the trip. Along the way we picked up James and Uncle Raj and made our way to Cameron Highlands in hopes of beating the traffic jam which Sharon and I had gone through last Raya in 2007. Well beat the traffic we did and we arrived at the peak at about 9am. Once there we got out to enjoy the fresh air and it was absolutely wonderful, the air was so cool and refreshing and I was wearing shorts...legs were freezing.

One of the best moments up at Cameron Highlands is the visit to the  BOH tea plantation, thanks to Uncle Raj who showed us the way to the plantation, without him we would never have found our way there. The journey up to the plantation interesting, there were lots of blind corners and each blind corner we had to press on the horn to warn people that we are coming up the hill. Once we reached there we got ourselves a cup of BOH tea and some cakes and sandwiches. Once we finished our tea we made our way up to the hill to enjoy the wonderful scenery and the cool breeze. That was the best experience we had up at Cameron. We stayed there for almost 1 hour enjoying the cool breeze. How we wished we could stay there longer.....

Man was it hot the time I was sucking on the strawberry ice cream. Once it hit 12 noon the cool air was gone and the sun was really making the temperatures high. By that time traffic also started to build up and it was considerably packed at Tanah Rata so we decided to head back down the highlands back to our lovely homes Penang. But of course we had to endure another 3-4 hours of driving.

A Fixed Savvy

I finally managed to sent my car for repairs yesterday after a long time dealing with the car stuttering and also hard to start problem due to a faulty component in the car. Thanks to the Savoc.net forums which has guided me and gave me tips to identify the problem with the car. This was all due to a tiny little component called the TDC sensor or more commonly known as the speed sensor. The problem is after the car has been driven for quite a while the sensor is exposed to dirt and dust which causes the connection to be less sensitive. Well anyway I'm a happy Savvy driver now. Car feels better and even revs better now.

A Life Worth Living

I've been reading this few blogs listed below recently related to outdoor photography, imaginery, travel and living. After reading these few blogs, it just comes to show that there's so much more to enjoy in this life on this earth. There's so much more to see as well. How I wish we can travel everyday rather than sitting in front of the monitor screen. But anyway the images taken by the photographers have shown that there's just a lot more on this earth.Surely this life given to us by God is certainly a Life Worth Living which is also the theme of my blog. So try not to get stressed by the daily buzz of our life. We need to learn to adapt, and adapt we surely cab. Aren't we all time superior homo sapien? the all  adapting superior human. Haven't humanity gone through change the many centuries that have past? Are we still around..a big yes.Times may certainly be different now with but with God all things are possible.

A few blogs with great pictures and also photography skills and techniques. Hope you will enjoy it.

Trip to the Night Market @ Bt Feringghi

Last weekend we headed over to the night market at Batu Feringghi. It has been quite some time since we were there. It's nice to take a walk there once in a while and chill out. While we were there Joe and I got ourselves T-Shirts which is pretty cheap, RM50 for 3 T-shirts.  I will be back to get some more T-shirts. The material is seriously good, and honestly even better then branded T-shirts. Uncle T-shirts cheaper can ah....wah Penang kia.

I was just reading CNN news not too long ago. The first thing I read was the economy issue in the US. It's just scary reading this as there is a possibility of it affecting the world. So many people have taken their own lives and also the lives of others due to the economy problem. Why did they take their own lives? and the lives of their loved ones? Sad? But it's true. It's really sad to hear the news online and even in the newspapers. One question running on my mind here is will we be affected here in South East Asia? Is this the start of the downfall of the world economy? Will we hear people committing suicide because they do not have money to survive?

Also I received an email about a possible recession in Singapore and many Malaysians might lose their jobs. 300 thousand people will lose their jobs.Is that possible? Will it happen?

From The Star (October 14th 2008)

The One thing now is to continue to believe in Him the Almighty One. Who will surely provide and give us all our needs. Believing in what is unseen is a hard process. But we just have to keep on believing in God our papa for surely He will provide our every needs. He will never fail us that's for sure.  So continue to believe and Trust in Jesus. Even though it may seem hard to do so. But just believe.

Speedy Domino...

Yesterday after having a long day in church and hanging out with IMG_0368 (Large)frens, we decided to have our dinner at home. Sharon and I decided to eat in and what else can you order in? It's either McDs or Dominos or Pizza Hut. It took us quite some time to get through to an operator, my only guess was there were lots of people ordering Dominos. well that didn't piss me until the operator who took my call actually dropped my call when I took a long time to make an order. She even had the guts to tell me to try to order online next time. Stupid operator. Well anyway I called again and the 2nd operator was kind and patient. After putting down the phone I kept track of the time since they promised to send the pizzas in 30mins. Well I waited and counted the time..hoping to get my coupon for a free medium pizza. To my surprise the delivery guy rang my door bell and the first thing he mentioned was "Hi are you Kevin" I answered him and the next thing he mentioned is " I'm here in 22mins"... The next thought that came to my mind was damn he's fast and sucks I didn't get the coupon for a free medium size pizza. But overall I'm happy with the delivery of the speedy pizzas.

One of the best shots of us...

Future Weapons on Discovery Channel

image I like watching this show which can be seen from Discovery Channel. The guy who hosts the show is actually an Ex-marine Seal. I guess because he is ex-military he is permitted to actually use the small to big weapons like tanks in his shows. Well with the experience that he has with weapons of the battlefield surely when reviewing the weapons he is allowed to have hands on. One aspect of the show I like is the in depth technological terms used which kinda makes the show interesting for me. Also the new weapons which are focused on the show is really cool. There are really some very cool things technology can do to make weapons better.

Watch what you IM...!

I was chatting with Gary and the first thing I noticed was the blue words in the IM window. I was surprised to see the Firewall Notice. I never get that in Intel. So just wondering whether our conversations are tracked? So have to extra careful next time. Anyway after coming back from lunch I IMed Gary and guessed what I saw? Another strange message appeared by Motorola. Do I have to type "hellomoto"???

image

Anyway watching what you IM reminded me of something I read from Ps. Prince's devotional and I want to take this time to share it to you :-

What have you been saying about your situation?

When you feel the pain in your body, don’t say of the Lord, “God wants me sick to teach me to trust Him more.” Instead, say, “Lord Jesus, I thank You that by Your stripes I am healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

While trying to make ends meet, don’t say of the Lord, “The Lord keeps me poor to keep me humble.” Instead, say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

And if you have an intimidating boss at work, don’t say, “The Lord is my patience, I will endure.” Instead, say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

We are living in the last days when there are terrorist attacks and deadly viruses lurking around, and the world is afraid. But we will not speak negative words and be fearful like the people of the world. Instead, we will speak God’s Word and reign over these things. Like the psalmist, we will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

So find out what God’s Word says about your situation, believe it and declare it. And because God’s Word cannot return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11), you will see what you believe and confess come to pass!imageimage
