Behold the weekends have arrived.......

The weekends is drawing nearer. Just a couple of hours more of work and you're free from work syndrome. This will be a special weekend with a longer than usual weekend due to the Merdeka celebrations. Anyway I've got a whole lot of things to do and I'm hoping I can get them done as soon as possible. An extra day off on weekends doesn't mean a longer weekend if you don't manage your time properly. It could mean lots of hanging around doing nothing and you can see the time flying right before your eyes. Anyway planning to have a relaxing weekend yet have a good time getting my things done.

Merdeka

It's merdeka season once again in Malaysia for the 51st time. This coming weekend you will see the our glorious flag raised up high in many homes in the country. Not sure why but I feel the government should at least give each home a flag for "FREE" to put it in their homes. I would if they gave me a free flag. That would certainly make the Malaysian flag rise up on high and keep up the spirit rather than fight and argue in the parliament house. Anyway I don't care what happens in the political arena, they just talk a whole lot of bulls. But some talk and crapping does make sense just don't cause the fall of Malaysia. Important is live peacefully and live happily together.

Star Wars: Clone Wars

 

Another great Star Wars movie in 3d by LucasFilms - Clone Wars. Well what can I say about this movie? As a Star Wars fan any movie from the Star Wars saga is certainly a big hoohaaaa!! Well that's because like all other Star Wars movies especially Episode I to III the shows have been great especially the battle scenes. My favorite Star Wars movie is Episode II - Attack of the Clones, with all the clone troopers moving around the battlefield.

 

 

  

 

Clone Troopers

Anyway back to the Clone Wars movie, this show is based on mostly clone troopers and also Anakin's journey before he turns to the dark side and is roughly based between Episode II and III of the Star Wars movie. Anyway haven't watched it yet and was thinking of getting the original DVD once this comes out. Full synopsis below. 

The Clone Wars are raging between the Separatists and the Galactic Republic. When Jabba the Hutt's son is taken by a group of renegades, two Jedi are summoned to investigate. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi depart in search of answers: where is the Hutt's son, and who is controlling this mysterious renegade group? Yoda sends Ahsoka Tano along as Anakin's apprentice, Obi-Wan duels Asajj Ventress, and Anakin finds himself dueling Count Dooku once more. Meanwhile, the Sith plan to instigate a three-way war, including the Hutts.

Dinner @ home

Nowadays after coming home from work so late there isn't time to actually have a home cooked dinner. Well here's a picture of what we were having last week. Well the food isn't all cooked some were bought, but it's still a dinner at home.

How the song came about?

Recently found out about this song at the Passion Concert in KL and found out that the song actually came from a group of missionaries from Europe who were doing some mission work in Thailand. The song eventually came out when they were asked to perform in a bar which was eventually a brothel. God somehow inspired them to sing this song and that was how the song came about.

Passion @ Kuala Lumpur

Last weekend I went to the passion world tour concert with my wife, and some friends. We took an early morning bus on Saturday and headed down to KL with our eyes 1/2 open. Below is a picture of the KTM station in KL where the bus we took stopped in KL. This is the first time stopping here at the KTM station, so decided to take a picture of this historical building.

Passion World Tour @ KL

The concert was totally crowded with people all coming to praise Him. Was a pleasure to see the young people coming to actually praise Him. Best of all is getting to hear the wonderful songs sung to praise Him. This was also the first time to see Chris Tomlin performing live and bless God for giving Chris the skills to sing and play like this. It was utterly fantastic. Too bad we couldn't take pictures of the event. The ushers will come telling us to not take pictures. But I guess rules are meant to be broken and several thousands shots were taken as I could see many flashes during the event. Anyway here's a few pictures of the event.
